Founded in 1910 when A.L. Mills started
sew-ing butcher aprons for meat
packing industry.
At the request of a local hospital, A.L.
began making surgeon’s gowns.
In the 1930s, A.L. and his son made the
first colored surgical gown to ease eye
fatigue.
We’ve been tailoring solutions to help
health-care run better ever since.
We’re still the same family business that started it all
